Abstract

The article includes court cases involving abortion and the lack of fathers having rights in abortion’s.  After reviewing key cases, I point out constitutional faults, and add legal critiques to each case.  In the issue section, the abortion issue is covered thoroughly and the implications on how abortions are decided are presented.  In analyzing the language from Roe. V Wade, I attempt to dispose of the legal precedent that has been deciding abortion cases for the last 40 years.  Father’s equal protection of the law rights are violated under many of these cases based on the 14th amendment, which is defined.  The idea of a woman’s right to privacy weighing against the right to life is soundly argued upon, and my ideas for future improvement are presented in the conclusion.
